Booking

Ask for your dates through the website, by email or by phone. A booking is confirmed once we have told you so, by phone or by email, and you will get a confirmation email with your dates. The day before you arrive we send your pitch number, directions and everything you need to know about the park.

Price and paying

A pitch is £25 a night, every night of the year, however many of you there are. That covers the pitch, the electric hook-up, water and the fishing, and there is nothing extra to pay for an awning or a dog. You don't need to be a member of any club.

We don't take deposits. Pay on the day, in cash or by bank transfer.

Changes and cancellations

If your plans change, please tell us as soon as you can, and at least 48 hours before you are due to arrive where possible, so the pitch can go to someone else. As we hold no deposit there is nothing to refund.

Arriving and leaving

Your pitch is ready from 12 noon on the day you arrive. There is no gate and nowhere to check in, so arrive at any time from then on, including after dark: find your pitch and settle in. Please leave by 11am on your last day. There is no minimum stay.

Who and what we welcome

Units

Caravans, motorhomes and campervans up to 8.5 metres, with an awning if you want one. Each pitch is level gravel hardstanding with its own 16-amp hook-up and water tap.

Tents

We don't allow camping in tents, including on the touring pitches.

Children

Very welcome. The Severn is deep and can run fast after rain, so please keep a close eye on them near the bank.

Dogs

Very welcome, at no charge. Please keep them on a lead around the pitches and the park homes, let them run in the enclosed field, and clear up after them.

Vehicles

One vehicle stays on the pitch with your unit. A second car parks in the car park by the drive. Please keep to walking pace on the drive.

Barbecues

Fine on the touring pitches.

Facilities

There are no toilets or showers on the park, so the site suits self-contained units. The Elsan point is behind pitch 1, there are drains for grey waste, and the bins and recycling are up by the car park. There is no Wi-Fi and no EV charging; the mobile signal is good on all the main networks.

Fishing

Fishing on our nine platforms is included. They are first come, first served, with one platform per pitch at a time. Night fishing is allowed. The coarse close season runs from 15 March to 15 June, when the river cannot be fished but the park stays open.

Living alongside the park

Ten families live here all year round. We want everyone to have a wonderful time, so please be considerate with noise, particularly in the evenings and after dark, and respect residents' privacy.

The river in winter

The park sits low beside the River Severn and has flooded in past winters. If you are coming between November and March, call us on 01746 766513 before you travel and we will tell you the conditions. If the river makes the park unsafe to use, we will tell you as soon as we know and help you rearrange.

Your details

We use what you give us only to arrange your stay and to send the emails around it: a confirmation, your pitch details the day before you arrive, and a thank-you afterwards, which you can stop with the link in it. Our privacy page has the detail.
