Fishing on our own stretch of the Severn
Nine platforms along our bank, used by our guests and nobody else. Fishing is included in the £25 pitch fee, one platform per pitch.
The swims
Nine platforms and spots are spread along the bank, some tucked under the trees along the riverbank, the rest out in front of the touring pitches. Pick one when you arrive: the platforms are first come, first served.
So that everyone gets a swim, each pitch takes one platform at a time.
What's in the river
This reach is known for its barbel. There are good chub along the same runs, and roach in the slacker water. The Severn here is deep and steady, and it pushes through hard after rain.
Fishing here
The statutory coarse close season applies, from 15 March to 15 June, when the river is closed to fishing.
Night fishing is allowed. Ten families live on the park all year, so please keep noise and torchlight down after dark.
Coming for the fishing
Stay on a touring pitch and the fishing comes with it, so a night on the bank costs £25 for you and your unit.
