Do I have to be a club member to stay?

No. The touring pitches are open to everyone.

What does a pitch cost?

£25 a night per pitch, all year round, however many people are in your party. There is no bank holiday surcharge and no extra charge for an awning or a dog.

How do I pay, and do you take a deposit?

We don't take deposits. You pay on the day, in cash or by bank transfer.

What if we need to cancel?

We don't take deposits, so there is nothing to refund. Please give us at least 48 hours' notice where you can, so the pitch can go to someone else.

Are there toilets and showers?

No. There are no toilet or shower blocks on the park, so you will need a self-contained caravan, motorhome or campervan. There is an Elsan disposal point behind pitch 1 and bins in the car park.

Can I pitch a tent?

No. We take caravans, motorhomes and campervans, but camping in tents is not allowed.

Do you take motorhomes and campervans?

Yes. Caravans, motorhomes and campervans are all welcome, with an awning if you want one, and there is no extra charge for either.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are very welcome. We also have a large enclosed field where they can run safely off the lead.

What time can I arrive and leave?

Arrive any time from 12pm and leave by 11am. There is no minimum stay.

Can we stay for just one night?

Yes. There is no minimum stay, so a single night on the way somewhere is fine. Arrive from 12pm and leave by 11am the next day.

Can we arrive late?

Yes. There is no gate and nowhere to check in, so arrive at any time from 12pm, including after dark. Please keep to walking pace on the drive and keep noise down late on.

Is fishing included?

Yes. Fishing on our nine platforms is included in the pitch fee, and they are first come, first served. Each pitch takes one platform at a time, so that every guest has somewhere to fish. The coarse close season runs from 15 March to 15 June.

Can I fish at night?

Yes, night fishing is allowed. Ten families live on the park all year, so please keep noise and torchlight down after dark.

Are you open during the fishing close season?

Yes. The park is open every day of the year. The coarse close season runs from 15 March to 15 June, when the river cannot be fished, but the pitches, the walks and everything else carry on as normal.

Is there Wi-Fi or a mobile signal?

There is no Wi-Fi on the park, but the mobile signal is good. Calls and 4G work on every main network, both indoors and outdoors, and EE also has 5G outdoors.

Is there electricity and water at the pitch?

Yes. Every pitch has its own 16-amp electric hook-up and a fresh water tap.

Will a large caravan or motorhome fit?

Yes, up to 8.5 metres. Each pitch takes a twin-axle caravan and its awning, or a motorhome up to 8.5 metres, with room to spread out.

Can we bring a second car?

Yes. One vehicle stays on the pitch with your unit, and a second car parks in the car park by the drive.

Is there EV charging?

No. There is no electric vehicle charging on the park.

Is there somewhere to empty the toilet and grey waste?

Yes. The Elsan point is behind pitch 1, there are drains on the park for grey waste, and the bins and recycling are up by the car park.

Are you open in winter?

Yes, we are open every day of the year. The park sits low beside the River Severn and has flooded in past winters, so please call before you travel in the winter months and we will tell you how the river looks.

How far is Bridgnorth?

Two miles. You can drive, follow the riverside path on foot, or take the 297 Bus, which stops on the A442 at the park.

Where are the nearest shop and pub?

In Bridgnorth Low Town, two miles away. Walk in along the riverside footpath, drive, or take the 297 Bus from the stop by the park.

Can children stay?

Yes, children are welcome on the touring pitches.

Can I have a barbecue?

Yes, barbecues are fine on the touring pitches.

Are there quiet hours?

We don't set fixed hours, but ten families live here all year round, so please be considerate with noise, particularly in the evenings, and keep to walking pace on the drive.

Is the park only for touring?

No. Danery Meadow Park is a residential park with ten privately owned park homes, and the five touring pitches share the meadow with them. Please keep things quiet for the people who live here.

Is there an age rule for the park homes?

No. Unlike many residential parks, there is no age restriction on living at Danery Meadow Park.

How do I book?

Check which nights are free on our availability calendar, then send an enquiry or call 01746 766513. We are a small touring caravan site with five pitches, so we confirm every booking ourselves, by phone or email.

Can a group book all five pitches?

Yes. A group can book the whole touring area, all five pitches together. Call 01746 766513 and we'll arrange it.

Do you offer caravan storage?

We have a small number of annual storage spaces. They don't come up often, but do call 01746 766513 to ask.
